Ha My Nguyen grew up in the mountains of Central Vietnam bordering Laos, she grew up in the freedom of the mountainous nature and then she returned to Hue to study at Hue University of Arts, where she was born  and also home to the last feudal dynasty of Vietnam. She operated there until 2018 she moved to live and work in Paris, France.
 Graduated in Traditional Lacquer Design, Faculty of Applied Art at the Hue University Art, Viet Nam. Ha My's artistic practices are varied, with pictures cultural influences from different regions in central Vietnam. Growing up in a male-dominated society, she soon there were questions about the role of women, the definition of femininity in the Vietnamese cultural context 2014 in the series of works "ABR" in the exhibition " Tran8tate" in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Since then, she continue to combine existing found objects with traditional patterns and materials like ceramic, watercolor, fabric into her artistic creation. Ha-My both composes and supports the operation Then Café space from 2013-2017, an independent creative space in Hue. She also continuously appeared currently, group exhibitions in Vietnam and Southeast Asia such as: “Utopia Land”, 2017, Heritage Space, Hanoi– Vietnam; “Quay II”, 2016, Hue - Vietnam; “Giong- Khong- Giong", 2015, Yogyakarta - Indonesia; "Tran8tate", 2014, Chiang Mai – Thailand; “ Sindikat Campusari”, 2016 Jakarta-Indonesia. Currently, Ha-My lives and works in Paris.
  Since she moved to France her artistic practice more revolves around femininity, nature and visualizations of an object or image that is neither human nor plant, She defines it as an object appearing in another world, fiction or like a pinky dream. She calls it sometimes like “ blooming”, “ dream seeds” or it’s simply like “ a mass of seeds”.
